Women empowerment is not only measured by their participation in the economic, political, and educational spheres such as employment, access to the labor market, and the number of female legislators, but also their contribution in the cultural field.

Despite a recent World Bank report that ranks Saudi Arabia at the top of the list of countries with laws that limit women's economic potential, several Saudi women have made it to the world's most influential people list.

The latest addition is Raha Moharrak - the youngest and first Saudi woman to successfully climb Mount Everest, breaking the taboos women face in the Kingdom.

She is sharing her experiences and views on women empowerment in a talk show along with HRH Princess Reem Mohammed Al Faisal Al Saud, Chairperson of NAAM Association at the Talent and Diversity Leadership Forum in Riyadh.

Joining them at the forum is Dr Suhair Hassan, President of Dar Al-Hekma College and a strong supporter of women equality. She is speaking in an interactive panel discussion to address challenges women face in the Kingdom.

The two day forum is taking place under the patronage of H E Adel bin Muhammad Fakeih, Minister of Labor Saudi Arabia on December 11th and 12th at InterContinental Riyadh.

The morning session on December 12th is bringing together some of the Kingdom's most influential women leaders who will share their success stories and discuss leadership development, in both public and private sectors.
